I will dominate 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.

Former twice unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the novice remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Size Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
